Highland cattle and naturally grown, grassfed and grass finished beef are the products and pride of Tranquility farm. Our farm, located in the lakes district of central British Columbia Canada, is an ideal setting for raising healthy happy highland cattle.
At Tranquility, we are farmers, not ranchers. As environmentally responsible farmers, we care about our land in the same way we care about our animals.
Our highland cattle are managed in a rotational grazing system on a large private acreage. This grazing system ensures the land and vegetation stays healthy. The cattle are always grazing on tender young shoots of their choice and they obtain their nutritional needs, free of supplemental feeds or growth hormones. The cattle are allowed to grow naturally, stay healthy and live just as nature intended.
